A public meeting is to be held at Firside School at 7 pm on Monday 23rd May 2022 to consider the response to Broadland District Council regarding the Persimmon planning application 20220391.

Chief Constable Paul Sanford welcomed the event, saying: “The purpose of the conference was not only to raise awareness of the ongoing work that the constabulary is already undertaking in tackling road related crime but also to work collaboratively with our partner agencies to establish best practice and to steer the direction of roads policing in future.”
Chief Constable Sanford added: “The topic of road safety, in particular speeding, is a subject which regularly gets raised with me.

Norfolk’s PCC releases plan for safety, policing and supporting people across the county
Norfolk’s Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) Giles Orpen-Smellie has launched his Police, Crime and Community Safety Plan for 2022-24.
Persimmon Homes has submitted detailed plans of Phase 3 of their development of the Norwich Golf Club. The relates to the land adjacent to Hercules Road and Pinewood Close and comprises a proposed 138 dwellings.
Norfolk’s Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) Giles Orpen-Smellie has launched his Police, Crime and Community Safety Plan for 2022-24.
The plan represents the PCC’s commitment to Norfolk residents about how their policing service will be delivered and managed as well as the provision of support for victims, crime prevention work and extensive partnership working that brings together services, and prioritises safety for every resident in the county.
