Caretaking staff work out of the Community Centre and are employed on a rota basis, which allows the centre to be open, except on Bank Holidays. The duties of this team include general cleaning, minor maintenance, setting up rooms for use by hirers, security and assisting the Centre Management.

GROUNDS TEAM

The Council also employs grounds staff whose responsibilities include all general grounds maintenance duties and upkeep of the Recreation Ground at Middletons Lane, including the bowling green, Meadow Way Recreation Ground and grass and hedges at the Bush Road allotments. Also employed is a Litter Warden who works throughout the Parish.

Hellesdon Library will be increasing its opening hours from 17th June 2018
New Open Libraries technology will allow library members over the age of 16 to use the library during unstaffed hours, giving them an extra 36 hours to enjoy their local library.
