Caretaking staff work out of the Community Centre and are employed on a rota basis, which allows the centre to be open, except on Bank Holidays. The duties of this team include general cleaning, minor maintenance, setting up rooms for use by hirers, security and assisting the Centre Management.

GROUNDS TEAM

The Council also employs grounds staff whose responsibilities include all general grounds maintenance duties and upkeep of the Recreation Ground at Middletons Lane, including the bowling green, Meadow Way Recreation Ground and grass and hedges at the Bush Road allotments. Also employed is a Litter Warden who works throughout the Parish.

Applications are invited for the position of Parish Clerk. The position also encompasses the role of Responsible Financial Officer, and is full-time – 37 hours per week.
