Cleaner / Caretaker
Full Time, but Job Share Considered if all Shift Patterns can be Covered
Applications are invited to become part of our Cleaning and Caretaking Team, based primarily at our newly refurbished Community Centre in Hellesdon. We are looking for someone with good cleaning and general DIY skills with a knowledge of health and safety, but would be willing to provide training for the right applicant.
Duties include, but not limited to:
Inspection, Maintenance and Repair of Parish Assets
Unlocking/Locking/General Security of Parish Assets
Setting up Community Centre to Hirers’ Requirements
Identifying and Resolving Health and Safety Issues
Setting up Tennis/Netball Courts to Hirers’ Requirements
Keep Outdoor Areas Clean and Litter Free
Polite and Courteous Customer Service
Light Gardening Duties and Grass Cutting
Cleaning and Restocking
Liaison with Contractors for Specialist Works
Driving licence essential
Hours: Full time (shift patterns – early shifts 7.30am to 3.30pm and late shifts 3pm to 11pm)
Pay: SCP 7 – £22,369 per annum
Location: Hellesdon Community Centre (but would be expected to travel to other parish facilities)
