Applications are invited to become our Cook/Manager for Hellesdon Community Cafe, based mainly at our newly refurbished Community Centre in Hellesdon.
We are ideally looking for someone with experience of working in catering or hospitality, but would be willing to provide training for the right applicant.
Duties include, but not limited to:
Serve Customers in a Polite and Friendly Manner Bake Products in Accordance with Food Hygiene Guidelines
Clear, Clean and Disinfect Tables Store Products in Accordance with Food Hygiene Guidelines
Cash Management of Till Complete Kitchen Hygiene Checklists
Keep Kitchen Clean, Tidy and Hygienic Dishwash Crockery and Cutlery
Communication of Allergen Information Agree Menu with Parish Clerk
Suggest Ideas for Themed Days Assist with the Budget Setting Process
Ordering of Ingredients and Stock Control Supervision / Training of Café Staff
Hours: Part Time (24 hours per week – 6 hours each Monday to Thursday)
Pay: SCP 7 (£11.63 per hour*)
Location: Hellesdon Community Centre
